The Car Plant (2018) is an installation that grew out of research into the ever-changing history of the Oxford Car Factory.  The work includes original objects made at the plant, found materials, wallpaper, video and a sound piece. The sound work includes an interview with Geoffrey Howell, who worked at the factory for 31 years. Exhibited at the Ruskin School of Art, the installation saught to draw audiences into the local history of Cowley Road and how it has been shaped by global trade and automation.
